Eric Ernest Johnson was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from the San Francisco
Art Institute with a B.F.A. in Painting and Film. He currently works from his L.A. studio creating paintings,
sculpture, mobiles, drawings, writings and music. Johnson's modern approach to ancient themes – Mother
Nature, creation stories, towers to the sky, great battles, heroic vessels, seas, and the great beyond – reveal
new and miraculous worlds with a richness of spirit and imagination.
